About Me

Who Am I?

My name is Caroline Andrews and I will obtain my undergraduate degree in Spanish and International Health alongside a minor in Business Administration from Clemson University this May. I initially began my college journey as a Spanish and International Business major but found it difficult to apply material from these courses at a relational level. I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could combine my passion for serving others while simultaneously building relationships, and saw a tangible answer in the Spanish and International Health degree.

My new health-related coursework helped to foster in me the the intellectual and humanistic skills I found so valuable for a future in helping others. From cultural humility, to understanding the differences between, and importance of both sympathy and empathy, I am well-equipped to handle a variety of cross-cultural situations. In addition, my major also allowed me to gain hands-on research experience, and the opportunity to be fully immersed in the Spanish language during my semester studying abroad in Costa Rica.

The past four years have given me the opportunity to develop a diverse skillset in fields spanning from epidemiology to health behavioral theory, in which I am capable of translating across both culture and language. With a bright future ahead of me, I hope to start my career in healthcare administration where I can practice these competencies, all while being a servant to others.
